In 2023, GoLexic received funding from the European Union, under the Women TechEU<\/b> initiative, which is part of the wider Horizon Europe funding programme. This funding has been a cornerstone in our journey. As an independent startup with a social mission in the Tech sector, it is important to highlight how critical this type of public programmes are, particularly for startups funded by women, like GoLexic. Women-funded startups receive less than 2% of all private capital invested into startups in Europe.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

\u00a0We wanted to take some time to look back at what the Women Women TechEU initiative helped us accomplish in the last 10 months.\u00a0<\/span>The funding and support it gave us was critical for us to forward with our vision to make reading intervention more accessible for all children:<\/span><\/p>

Empowering Our Vision<\/strong><\/p>

The financial backing provided by the grant has been instrumental in overcoming the significant challenges associated with marketing. Here\u2019s a snapshot of what we have accomplished thanks to this invaluable support:<\/p>

1. Offering a freemium version of the GoLexic App<\/strong><\/p>

One of our major milestones has been the successful launch of a freemium version of the GoLexic app. This strategy has enabled us to:<\/p>

  • Reach more families:<\/strong> By offering a free version, we\u2019ve significantly broadened our reach, making advanced technology accessible to a wider audience.<\/li>
  • Gather Valuable Feedback:<\/strong> The freemium model has provided us with critical user insights, allowing us to refine and enhance our product based on real-world usage and feedback.<\/li><\/ul>

    2. Relaunching the GoLexic.com website<\/strong><\/p>

    If you have noticed that things look at a bit more professional around here, it is thanks to this funding programme! We were able to:<\/p>

    • Move our site to a more professional platform:<\/strong> The site is faster, more secure, and mobile-friendly<\/li>
    • Launch the site in additional languages:<\/strong>\u00a0 For the first time, we have a full site for our German customers!<\/li><\/ul>

      3. Launching two Dyslexia-Test websites<\/strong><\/p>

      In our commitment to support parents on their journey to help their child, we have also developed and launched two dyslexia-test websites. These platforms are designed to:<\/p>

      • Increase Accessibility:<\/strong> Our websites offer easy-to-use tools that help parents identify if their child shows signs of dyslexia, promoting early intervention and support.<\/li>
      • Raise Awareness:<\/strong> By providing free and accessible resources, we want to raise awareness about dyslexia and the importance of early detection.<\/li>
      • Support Our Community:<\/strong> These websites are a testament to our dedication to creating solutions that address real-world challenges, particularly in the realm of education and cognitive health.<\/li><\/ul>

        4. Better connecting with our audience and partners\u00a0<\/b><\/p>

        The grant has not only facilitated these specific projects but also helped us build a solid foundation for future growth. We have been able to invest in critical marketing activities, such as:<\/p>

        • Market Research:<\/strong> Conducting in-depth market analysis to better understand our target audience and refine our value proposition.<\/li>
        • Digital Marketing Campaigns:<\/strong> Implementing targeted campaigns to drive traffic, increase engagement, and boost conversions.<\/li>
        • Partnership Development:<\/strong> Establishing strategic partnerships to enhance our market reach and collaborative opportunities.<\/li><\/ul>
